Angels are messengers of God. However, angels are not all powerful. Jesus says in Matthew 24:36 that not even the angels in Heaven know what hour Jesus will return. The angels too will be judged according to their deeds. Angels are not gods and shall not be worshipped, for one of the Ten Commandments as written in both Exodus and Deuteronomy that there shall be no other gods before the Lord, for He is a Jealous God.
Demons, on the other hand, are fallen angels. Some probably did not know that Satan was once an angel named Lucifer. Here Isaiah describes Lucifer’s fall in chapter 14:12-17:
“How you are fallen from Heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart I will ascend into Heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest side of the north; I will also ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High. Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depth of the Pit. “Those who see you will gaze at you, and consider you saying: ‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms, who made the world as a wilderness and destroyed its cities, who did not open the house of his prisoners?’”
Sadly, most people will not realize that before it is too late. He too, will be cast into the Lake of Fire. He is not as powerful as the Lord and never will be, no matter how deceitful he is. In short, demons are followers of Satan who have no power over God, His Angels (read the book of Revelation) or believers.
CONTRIBUTIONS ANGELS HAVE MADE IN THE BIBLE
Genesis 3:24
So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.
Exodus 14:19

Psalm 91:10

Mark 16:3-7
“Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?” But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away-for it was very large. And entering the tomb, they saw a young man, clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed. But he said to them, “Do’nt be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. But go, tell His disciples-and Peter-that He is going before you into Galilee; there uou will see Him;, as He said to you.”
Revelation 20:1-2
Then I saw an angel coming down from Heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;
LUKE 4:10-11
10 For the Scripture says, “God will order His angels to take good care of you.”
11 It also says, “They will hold you up with their hands so that you will not even hurt your feet on the stones.”
REVELATION 9:1
Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from Heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit.
